Nice. Yeah, I ended up beating only two cars the night I went to the strip, a Ford Ranger and a Nova (driver "fell asleep" at the tree, I think)

I was running 42 psi that night...horrible. hahahahaha.

I ran a 16.36 after weight reduction, and a 16.56 fully loaded, including the spare tire. God, I can't believe someone remembers that, lol. That was almost 2 years ago ><

I'm glad to see people going sub 15 in these cars though, before I left for the army, that was all the talk!!!

Wait, you're a better driver? Where did that come from
You're just more likely to pull better times because of the lighter, better shifting manual tranny .

I still think my 16.97 with my n/a auto isn't that bad, it still has yet to be beat.

Yah seriously. I think my car would pull off a low 15 if not high 14s (with a great driver). I have no rear seat, 2.25" headerback exhaust, no dynomat/sounds or spare wheel, and I weigh half of his body weight ( lol, ok not really. almost! ). I would just need to get the right PSI set for my tires.

*However, whenever a strip is finally built again in oahu; i'll definately be getting a LSD, lightened flywheel, and stage 2 clutch!

I have an xA, but I'll throw some times out there.

a few years ago, I had a Blitz sc... best with that was a 15.0 (drag radials)
I then added 35HP shot of nitrous... I ran a 14.01 @99

Now I am turbocharged (greddy kit). I pulled a 14.7 on 7.5 pounds of boost (with drag radials) 133whp.

Now I have a built motor, and 3" exhaust, cranked up the boost and a few weeks ago I ran a 14.3 @99mph (on street tires) 171whp.

ps... dyno numbers are on dyno dynamics w/ zero correction

Im going to the strip again this weekend after upgrading my downpipe, and put the radials back on. Hope to break into the 13's!!!

My car was completly stock at that point and time, just lowered my tire pressure up front to 28psi, and increased my rear psi to 50.

I had at one point a fairly modded yaris though. CAI, Resonator back exhaust with a flowmaster 60 series, SSK, TRD shocks and df210 springs, and I also bought an extra spare tire for at the track. I upgraded my tires to Nitto 205/55/15's and was going to put on 2 spares so I could have reduced drag on the rear.

Never ran it at the 1/4 again, but I ran it at an 1/8th in midland, tx, and it was pulling 9.5's to 9.7's depending on my launch. Don't really know what that would equate to down @ my old track, but I always figured around a mid 15 or so....

Anyways, the car is back to stock now, except for the tires, I'm running those till I need new ones before I go back to the stock 185/60/15's, lol, why waste em?

Anyone want a used flowmaster 60 series?
