The image will be whitish because it's the bare aluminum after the colored anodized layer has been removed. If you want the image to be a different color, you'll have to find an artist or graphics shop. They need to remember to use paint that can stand the high temps right over the engine.

hmmm almost forgot to post my peetcher.
I was gonna paint it with that "hammered" texture stuff in cooper color, but now that I see the beauty of the brushed aluminum I don't know if I will. The crazy lookin wing nuts were originally for a hot rod air cleaner |

got my cover yesterday. ended up not going with the blitz S/C but it still looks good. guess i'll figure out exactly what engine cover i wanna sport when i get the PE S/C on. may just buy another uncut cover from micro image. i do love the engraving though.

It is one of a kind. If you switch to another one, I'm sure a Blitz'd owner will buy it from you. I too love the texture of the aluminum after the laser etching.
