Really nice... makes me think white wheels might be a good choice for mine. Here in the states, people don't give much respect to Yari; is there a lot of modified/sporty Yari where you are at?

Not really, unfortunately I'm in the land of the Skyline, Silvia, 180, Subby, EVO etc. so I'm one of the few. Allot of the Japanese guys hook them up but they are also few and far in between. The above mentioned cars, I've been there done that a couple of times, this time I was going to go with a smaller car, either the Vitz RS (which I did) or the Honda Fit RS, March 12S. I wanted to show the people around me, there are cars other than just a Skyline. Right now, I'm happy with my decision. I'm planning on putting on a aero kit (ing kit) and adding a carbon bonnet, also Bride seats for the interior in the future. The white rims, I think look sexy on the black.... but not all white rims pull this off.... the design of the work xd9's in this case makes the white look good on black. IMO Thanks for the love everyone. Feed back is also welcomed, whether it be good or bad. |

First Car!
Here's me and my first car, Lumpy Potato.
2010 Toyota Yaris 5-Door Liftback, Meteorite Metallic, AT, Power Package. I have to say my experience with Power Toyota Scion of Cerritos Auto Square (in California) was excellent, Great People! After telling them that I talked to 30 dealerships and that they offered around $15000 from MSRP of $16,670, the guy was chill and gave me $14,348 without an argument with 0% APR. Was so much more relaxing then some of the sharks I had to talk with. Last edited by Thai_Dang; 07-04-2010 at 02:27 AM. |

Here's my 2010
I've had this for 12 days now & completed 2 mods: installing an adjustable intermittent wiper and debadging the rear. Bought it 6 months old w 4,700 miles!! Has almost every option! $12k. It fits in my drive w 1.5" to spare & I like it! My other vehicle is the Xplorer Class B Motorhome which I've had for 10 years & will never let it go.

Great color!
Is this the Matrix/Vibe switch? And the intermittent function for the rear wiper does not work, right? Been thinking about this little upgrade.

switch
It is the switch from an 04 Prius. I followed CTScott's DIY & had some PM's from him as needed. Took under 1 hour & was easy. I could do it again in 20 minutes. I paid $50 + $12 shipping for the switch from the same place in WI he used. One on ebay just went for less. My local dealer wanted $148 + $9 tax for the part.
The intermittent for the rear does not work, just the constant on or off. But now instead of only 1 fixed delay front wiper speed, I can vary it from 2.8 seconds to 7.6 seconds between wipes. SWEET! Thnank you CTScott. |
