Hi, I had my Yaris about two weeks now, really enjoying it. I have been driving Tacomas for about 12 years. Setting on the ground now.

Still dithering though about the various options. Will probably post the odd question over the coming days...

Cheers all!
Here are my recommendations:
All-Weather Guard Package -- includes larger window washer tank with low-level warning lamp, heavy-duty heater, heavy-duty starter and rear heater duct
Convenience Package -- AM/FM CD player with MP3/WMA playback capability, auxiliary audio jack, satellite radio capability [1] and CD text display function, 60/40 split fold-down rear seat (Liftback adds sliding/reclining feature) and 15-in. steel wheels with full wheel covers (Liftback adds rear window wiper)
Power Package -- includes Convenience Package plus power door locks and power windows with driver's auto-down, power outside mirrors, engine immobilizer [2] and remote keyless entry system (Sedan adds integrated audio face plate)

You can add the sport package too and they you will have all there is and still pay less than for any other car with similar options... not to mention unbelievable gas mileage.

Sup folks? Picked up a new red '10 4-Door LB with the all-weather and power packs couple of weeks ago. I've got a few little things planned. Nothing radical...just an OEM+ look.

Here she was the day I brought her home.

I have never been a person that has pride in their ride. Bluntly speaking, I've always regarded my car as a means to get from A to B. However, recently, I've become more proud of my car. Now, I want to make my little car look nice and run better.

I have an 03 Echo. I know this is a yaris forum, but aren't the cars still similar?

Anyway, I know nothing about cars. I look forward to learning things about my car in the process of making her sexy. :)

Thanks for the warm welcome. I do have a million questions, but I'm somewhat anxious to ask them for fear of making anyone angry. So, I'm going to read a couple hundred threads to see if I can find my answers first, and then ask anything I can't seem to find. The search button is your friend, right?

Smile Got 2009 Yaris LB last week. Ecstatic!

Anyone know how I can find out details of the factory in Japan where my Yaris was actually made and by whom in the car plant?

Eon's ago (1985-89) when I worked with Japanese companies in the UK, NEC & Ricoh, each product had a traveler history card that went down the production line. I expect today it would be some kind of computer record.

Just thought it would be kinda neat to see the faces of the people who made my car. Any suggestions where to start that search?

I think my 08 Yaris Sedan is a TARDIS. It really seems bigger on the inside than on the outside.
