I'm currently at 241,132 miles. Re original owners, Contraband831 usually has at least 2-5k more miles than I do on his car and TheSin is probably ahead of me by this time (he puts 10,000 miles a month on his Yaris)....plus there are probably some that I've missed. Tops among Yarisworld members who are original owners is likely triniper4mance. Per the comments on his You Tube channel he hit 490,000 miles a month ago and posted again yesterday, but didn't put his current mileage.
An XP 10 owner (1st Gen - ECHO in the U.S.) with the You Tube screen name mjuhanil posted his mileage to the comments on trini's channel 3 months ago....he had just hit 1 million kilometers on his 2002 ECHO. mjuhanil has his own You Tube channel and his videos show his odometer at 999,999 kilometers and at other 50,000 kilometer intervals. Yarisworld member yaris9876 has over 350,000 miles on his Yaris, but I don't think he is the original owner. Mazilla probably has the most miles overall on his Yaris. He isn't the original owner and the engine has been replaced, but his posts show, IMO, that he keeps it looking great. |

I think the CV boots on the Yaris are amazingly durable. My OEM ones are fine. They were crap on my GTI. Eventually, an aftermarket company made a CV boot kit that I used. The kit came with a 2 piece boot, glue, and the lubricant. This design allowed replacement with the car on the ground. I did this replacement myself with the car on the ground. In this kit the boots were made out of a different material than the OEM ones. I never had another CV boot problem after installing those aftermarket boots.

530,000+ now, but so much has been replaced in the name of performance over the last couple years it's not the same car anymore...including the 10k mi engine and trans I just swapped in a couple of months ago. Thanks, I take pride in making a half-million mile car beautiful. :)

2007 Yaris Sedan - Manual Trans - 151,250 miles and still going strong and no problems. Just breaking in. I drive about 98% highway. I still have the factor brakes on it I have changed the spark plugs and the serpentine belt. I just took it to the shop to have the brakes checked and they told me that I still had 5K miles left on them. I bought the car new with only 42 miles on it back in April 2007. Just made my last car payment. I use synthetic motor oil, not synthetic blend but full synthetic (If you don't use full synthetic I would highly recommend that you change) also I use a K&N oil filter and K&N lifetime air filter, I use Shell gasoline, it helps to keep the engine clean.

within a thousand or so of 150,000 on my 07. only things i've replaced are tires(still on my second set), spark plugs(denso iridiums-should last me till 200,000), air filters(change out every 50,000), and oil(pennzoil platinum w/ mobil1 extended performance filters every 10,000 since brand-new).
hoping i can get 300,000 with the current maintenance schedule. my dash is currently lit-up like a christmas tree with abs, airbag, and cel lights so i gotta get those looked at soon or i'm not gonna make it! |

My 2011 3-door hit 100k about 2 weeks ago. It's at about 101,500 now. I haven't done anything other than change the filter and oil. I changed the air filter once and installed a cabin filter.
I keep forgetting to check my owner's manual to see what kind of major service my Yaris deserves at this point. |
