TRD Cold Air Intake
I just installed a CAI from TRD with the water valve. I paid $ 318.00 from Frasier Toyota in Grand Forks. I live in Canada it took 3 weeks to ship and was installed in half n hour. Looks great, sounds awesome. Notice alot quicker response in 2nd / 3rd gear. 1st gear not that much difference just the groaning noise. Togather with the Borla Exhaust I have makes a nice combo. Gaind 9 - 11 HP hopefully. Here is the final look, Cheers !

Any noticable difference in fuel economy with the AEM CIA? Might buy one from Jay @ C2Auto. Just bought some wheels from him and would recommend him for anyone thinking of Yaris purchases!

Sounds tempting but man, thats alot for a CAI. I realize the Yaris is new and thats why they cost so much, but its a tube with a filter on it.

At an average of $2.50 per gallon, the thing pays for itself in a little over 200,000 miles!

I do not want to disappoint you, but the most that a CAI can give is 5-6hp.

How do you screw up MAF sensor placement?

if you put it right after a bend it will meter the air differently then before, aka. incorrectly causing the ECU to run either lean or rich. |

Make your car SCREAM!
HP gain of 5 is pretty optimistic too...
