I bought the sedan because with wife and 2 kids it was more practicle with trunk space plus the wife liked the looks, also the style of the HB didnt do it for me,kinda looks like a streched Smart car.For a small sporty HB as a second car for me i'm looking for a used Mini Cooper S.

I think we can all agree on that. He is probably in the 40's range in age and he drives a liftback. This is just one example and there are many more. Another thing is what do you consider young and what do you consider old?

I am in my 30's and drive a sedan and have modded it highly, so again your assumptions are wrong! How can a broke college student or a high school student that had to have their parents buy there car afford any modifications? Another thing, look at any import tuner or sport compact car magazine and most of the people on there that are features are usually in there late 20's through older age.

This poll is a great reference to general population of the people that buy this car no matter what age. I am not saying this is the most true and accurate information you can get, as a matter of fact I don't know where you would get that information from, but your assumptions that only young people and poor people are the only ones who purchase the yaris or any other economy car are simply not true and not backed up by any information or proof.
If you noticed in my post I used to word "usually" a lot. The word "usually" means a majority of the time. More than half. More than 50%. Get the drift? No where in my post did I say that ALL older people drive a Sedan or that ALL members of this forums were under a certain age, like you are implying that I said. Generally speaking, the older a person, the less likely they will be part of an online forums, no matter what the topic is. This could be for many reasons. The main one is that a lot(which means some but not ALL so don't get this confused again) of olded people don't even know how to turn a computer on much less how to get on the internet or even get on a forum.

Usually(remember this word from earlier?) cars that are in import tuner mags have thousand of dollars worth of mods, sometimes even over $100,000. Therefore it makes since that these people are older because they have been through college and have a good paying job in order to pay for their mods.

Also, I never said poor people buy the Yaris. College students that are on a budget are not going to go out and buy a Hummer or a Vette are they? No. They are usually(again remember this word?) going to buy an Eco car like the Yaris.

Disclamier: Here is the meaning of the word usually. When I use this word, refer to this section to learn the meaning. I am not responsible for YOU not understanding the meaning of the words in this post.

You still have not answered my questions. What is your age, have you modified your car. What do you consider old and what do you consider young? How does a person that has there parents buy them a car be able to afford mods? Or does this not pertain to this discussion for statistics or maybe you are a younger college kid that had his parents buy his car but has modified it!

How do you come up with this statement? "Generally speaking, the older a person, the less likely they will be part of an online forums, no matter what the topic is."

This is another baseless claim. http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/baseless

Along with this comment: "The main one is that a lot(which means some but not ALL so don't get this confused again) of olded people don't even know how to turn a computer on much less how to get on the internet or even get on a forum." Are you like talking 80 year old people?

No confusion here but I think you were confused as you should have put old instead of olded and please post a link to the dictionary of your choice on what the hell olded is! That last statement just shows how (for lack of a better word) unintelligent you really are.

One more to boot! You say you give the definition of usually but you actually gave the definition of the word usual which is an adjective, but the word usually is an adverb which means under normal conditions!
As you can see on the other more accurate thread, I'm a 26 year old broke school teacher with 2 Sedans. On my 07 I have added power locks and keyless entry. On my 08 I have added a free Gentex auto-dim mirror with Homelink. Some kids have their (not there like you posted) parents buy them a car. Then maybe they get a part time job to mod it. When I was in high school, I got my 1st job at 16 and I walked to work until I was able to buy my 1st car. It was a 96 Grand AM that I kept until it caught on fire my senior year of college. After graduating and got my 1st teaching job I bought a 05 Taco. I made a mistake and typed "olded" instead of "older!"

Go to a nursing home and ask them "what is an online forum?" I'm just going to take a wild guess but I would say that less than 5% would know what you were talking about. Computers, the internet and online forums have not been around forever. Therefore the older a person is, the less likely they will know what forums are. It's kind of like if you asked younger people what an 8-track is.

Ages: 16-22 High School to College aged
Ages: 23-30 Getting life started, 1st real job, marriage
Ages: 31-40 Kids, House
Ages: 41-Above Kids growing up, leaving house

I would say that "younger" for me would be the 16-22 age group.

To be honest with you the Yaris, no matter how many doors it has, is a chick car. And yes I have 2 of them, but it is what it is.
