Shortly after I bought my Yaris I was speeding home from the grocery store when a highway patrol passing flipped his blue lights on an pulled me over. He was very nice and asked me for the usual credentials. When he returned with only a warning ticket he started asking questions about the car. We chatted for a while when he suddenly looked at the left dash and looked confused when he didnt see a speedometer. I think he maybe wasnt sure if it really had one. I turned on the key and the instrument panel lit up. He just grinned from ear to ear.

All my odd ghetto friends love it haha

Had one bosnian fellow ask me a few questions about my car, he liked it quite a bit. Other then that it's been pretty fine.

My issue the car is not being respected here on Saudi hi-ways......I'm already travelling at 120-140kmh and still getting flashed from behind from Camry's and GMC's WTF.

. . . . "It's so cute."

If I hear one more girl call my car cute; I'm going to go grab my Suzuki Samurai and run them over. And run their cars over. And their non-centered clusters. YEA.

Going through the drive-thru at McDonald's with the left side glove box open. The girl handing me the food saw it and thought it was so neat. She called some of the other people over to look at it.

Right after I had the body kit put on a kid going through the crosswalk looked at my car and I could read his lips "whoa, what the f*ck is that!?" in a good way...lol.

I have a couple...

one was this summer on the way to Maine from Alabama after being boosted for my first month. I was at a Toll Booth in Jersey. The kid in the lane next to me had just pulled up to the booth right as I was leaving mine and was all, "Holy Batshit look at that Corolla go!" when I took off with boost...lmao.

the other was about 3 weeks ago. was at a light with a guy in a 90s Buick Regal. we both took off when the light went green and I didn't really push into it, but he decided to give it some quick gas and I responded. I let into it and he was able to stay about a 1/4 car length behind til my boost lag passed and I left him covered in snow. Saw him this weekend and he found out it was me. He walked up to me and said that I had to have done a v swap or something with nitrous to leave him standing like that.

A coworker who owns an Echo said once "it's so small you can almost put it on a kitchen table to wash it".

My other vehicle is a 2004 Ford F350 4x4 duallie with a V10, 4.30 gears and a 6 speed manual (with 28000 miles on it). My fellow firefighters asked if my LB was going in the bed of the Ford in case the truck broke down. Bill C

My coworkers ALWAYS make fun of my car. They joke about picking it up with the forklift and putting it in the back of people's trucks. D:

Mostly I get the usual, "Oh, it's so cute!" And when people ride with me it's always, "Whoa, I didn't think it was this big inside!"
A lot of people are scared to drive with me because I'm reckless. They assume that I'm so small no one will see me.

People will laugh and make fun. They don't believe me when I tell them it's actually pretty sporty. For instance, a few months ago I was racing an RX-8 down the Silver Strand here and I ended up winning. Now, I realize this is because he wouldn't go over 90, but lemme brag, okay? 8D

^ do you work at Home Depot/Lowe's?

Usually I get the comment of "picking it up and putting on someone's truck" comment around my part-time job haha. Once this car sees turns...its game over for everyone else :D

No, I'm in the military. I work in supply, so we have forklifts and such here.

Turns = game over for me, in a different way though. I always hit curbs! I forget that I have to turn wide sometimes. xD
