thanks guys for the welcome. i know they you guy would like the avatar. Montreal always cold. One of the joys of montreal. As for the yaris Leather was a select dealer option. From what i know there was only 2 dealership on the island that have it. Also i was able to get my ce fully loaded cheap than the RS. The extra in the RS didn't realy interest me. anyways took pic while at work on teh nightshift will post later on the board. There more option on the CE than the RS. For my dealership the rally spoiler is suppose to be in at the end of march. hopefully.

Hey Bigsky2, good taste, i got the same model, Black Sand Pearl Yaris RS B package, manuel 5 door. Hopefully mine will be in before or the first couple of weeks of april.

I didn't get any accessories, but i'm gonna get the lowering springs and the rally spoiler as soon as they r available. I got a call back from the dealership today, and they said they would have my car by the end of this month, i'm excited, but i'm gonna go in tomorow, and bitch, because interest just droped to 3.9% for 60 month term, so i want the to match that or give me stuff that will balance the difference out. When i put my order in, it was 5.4%, so thats like $500 over 5 years.

So good news, bad news and good news.

Good news, is that i went into the dealership today to get them to match my financing of 5.4%@60 that i put in mid jan, to the new 3.9%@60 that they have on right now for Toyota Red Tag days.

Now the bad news, the Yaris with 6 disk CD changer, (standard on the RS) can not have the dealer installed iPod connector. It just doesn't work with the cd changer, the dealer said. So sadly, i longer have an iPod connector in my Yaris.

Good news, dealer said that he car was in transit, some where over the pacific ocean, and once the car hits vancouver, it gets put on a train, and 1 day later i have my NEW Yaris. EXCITING

lahal, thanks for the update, I was kind of figuring that they'd start shipping them around march 1st if march 17th is when some should be in show rooms.

I'm just hoping toyota is good at keeping to its timetable. Cause I want my yaris too.

ya I'm hoping they r good at keeping there timetable, but i work in the printing industry, and lately i've been having trouble getting paper in from vancouver, when its not stocked locally. U know what i mean, u live right under me in montana, and I'm in alberta, we've been getting lots of avalanche, and its delaying shipments. But hopefully everything will arrive in due time.

HEY! new to these boards and to the Yaris. I saw it on Toyota's site a few days ago and instantly knew i wanted it. I love the sedan, the sporty version. Hopefully I will be getting it this summer.

--Hey everyone wassup!!! pyratio here from Honolulu. Cool forum! I saw the Yaris for the first time this spring in Japan and I had to learn more about that cool little car. It looks like the Yaris is coming to the U.S. Yay! I currently own an 05 Mini Cooper S and maybe it's hatchback tiny car fever or something but I really like the yaris too. Dunno. Can't wait to test drive one later. Til then I'll live through y'all vicariously. Thanks for havin me here.
