the thing is, asian yaris are assembled in thailand and the philippines. scott can't be sure our ecus have cruise control in them, let alone the wiring might be slightly different.

but hey, i'll let scott speak for himself. i'd love to have this mod too, but i have a pending order from scott once i have some cash to spare. (secret lol)

I somehow missed him asking about that, but you and I did discuss it, and I am pretty sure that Asian area Yaris of that vintage did not support cruise control. One way that we can check is to check the voltage (with the ignition switch in the ON position) of the ECM connector A21 pin 40 (that is the pin location where a pin gets added per my DIY). If we see +12 V on that pin with the ignition on, then theoretically cruise exists for that car. If we see 0 V on that pin, then it definitely does not.

I don't stock fog lights, but you can order them from Micro Image and we can install them at the same time.

Installed my kit in less than 20 minutes, and I wasn't even in a hurry. The later cars ('09+) are really easy. The pdf was a big help, and I just happened to have a Unibit that was the proper size for the stalk hole.

I just took mine to be installed today and the installer took one look and said its a cheap Chinese knockoff. Any ideas?
