Trying to stay busy. =) I cleaned the house, did laundry, went grocery shopping and stopped at the rental office to re-sign my lease. This afternoon I'm going to a friends home and helping her paint her kitchen, then her husband is going to grill out for us. Yum....I can't do that living in an apartment, so it's always a treat. Then, I dunno...come home and watch a sappy movie and drink a ton of beer... kidding.. =) About the ton of beer anyway.

How late do you work tonight?

I'm off at 2.
I'm looking forward to that ton of beer.

Well, I couldn't possibly drink a ton...there's half of a case in the fridge, though. I could probably make a good dent in it.

Just got done providing a friend with 200gb of media data and heading back to my cave (tent). Gonna Watch some Andromeda and then fall asleep to Humvees driving by and planes lifting off over head.

Good morning people. Just woke up.

There's a Yaris owner in L.A. with the name CIPNGAS?

Hi Mike. Sloooowly starting my day. I didn't get home till 2:30 last night. Good news is that I get two whole weeks home before I go to Boston.

How the strep throat? It should be getting better if you're taking antibiotics.

yep, big effin horse pills do the trick. Pretty much gone just have a lingering cough. Two weeks, that's pretty nice but do you still have to work at home during those weeks or is it a vacation

Working at the office will be like a vacation. I've got all these projects running that are like drifting off course while I'm gone. I'll use this time to fix the ones are are going bad and push the ones that are stalled.

Last night I sat next to the smartest lady I've ever talked to. A no-kidding rocket scientist working for NASA. Her satellite, that she's spent years working on for years, is launching next week. I was like a kid going to geek camp... I was able to ask so many questions about satellites and stuff. When we got to the really esoteric and difficult physics theories, I fell asleep.

Did you tell her you were hung like a Foucault pendulum? Always fun to meet people on the airplane or in the terminal. Just so many walks of life

No, I was outmatched in this conversation.

I started with "I gave a presentation to a room full of Colonels today."

She responded with "I'm getting ready to launch my science mission satellite next week."

I was like
