Would there be any benefit to using the Yaris SE steering rack (quicker ratio), or are you forced to use the OE Yaris L steering ratio?

Interesting find... The bottom bar is the 23mm 2007ish sedan bar I have been using. Middle is the 24mm 2007 hatch bar. Top is the 24mm 2015 hatch bar, the kicker is the 2015 bar is tubular while the others are solid. This will drop unsprung weight, and due to a softer rate should free the car up and help put power down. Going to have to try it out.
For 2015 the Yaris also has aluminum endlinks.

Engine/trans from the 2007 are now at home in the 2015. And between the Energy Suspension dog bone, and TRD side mounts, it does not want to budge.
And the interior is now covered in hammered silver.

Was just looking at the end links for the sway bar. Looks like you could cut and thread one if you needed adjustment.

I don't think there is enough material there to pull that off. If you want to dial preload out you only need an adjustable link on one side, so you can always split a pair. In my case the mount on the strut it adjustable.

Still trying to get data from Toyota. Typical rule of thumb (for equal OD) is a 20% change in stiffness, 40% change in weight.

I have an Echo so Mine are connected to the control arms with the standard rubber sway bar end links.

Wow...the front sway bar variants for the models. I am also interested in that 2012 sway bar and links. Great find!

Looks great! Are you using the OE steering rack or perhaps one from a Yaris SE (faster ratio)?

Base rack (its actually the one out of the old car, which actually came out of a sedan). With the EPS removed I don't want to further increase steering effort, and for road racing the quicker rack really isn't necessary.

Can you use the fog light holes for anything? Brake cooling or intake?
