Hi everyone! Yesterday, I bought a 2008 Yaris 4 door base model. Color is Flint Mica. Found it @ Gresham Toyota, in Oregon. 23,4003 miles. Automatic.

Yeah, I know...but it's my daughter's first car.

Certified used. Extremely clean & sharp!

Paid $10,995. So....was that a decent price?

I'm new in the sense that I am not really sure about how to use forums & such :( I'm from El Paso, TX so & I'm sure there's no Yaris enthusiasts out here...

Hello all - Yesterday I put a deposit on a brand spankin 2010 5 door yaris 1.3L hatch. Colour is Ink. Got reversing sensors, mats n tint. Gotta sell one of my motorbikes to make way for the car tho - anyone in Aus - Syd want a Kawasaki er-6? It's very nice and shiny blue...lol

Aiming to do a little mod-ing cosmetically, cause after all; it is only a little yaris.

congrats! The color is called Ink? Hmm haven't heard of that one yet, what does it look like? I'll have to check the australian website.

It's fancy for black :) But I don't think it's mettalic. I dunno, it cost me an 'extra $300' to have anything other than white.

that is weird, but the colors on the australian website all look different then the ones I saw when I went to buy my car. Maybe they are special.

I've owned a few cars in the past. Started out with a 1995 Ford Escort wagon, moved on to a 1990 Buick Regal (for 3 days). Next up was a 1994 Eagle Talon, followed by a 2004 Honda Civic Si.

I sold my 2007 Mazdaspeed 3 last year to purchase my 2001 Mustang GT. She's a true daily driver, rain, shine, and yes, SNOW. I also have a 1999 Jetta that will be replaced by a new or slightly loved 4/5 door automatic Yaris. I rarely drive the Jetta, as my girlfriend uses it for her transportation. I'm expecting the Yaris to be similar in this aspect. If I like it enough, I'll buy a second one for myself, a 3 door 5 speed.

So, just got home from the dealership. Jetta is gone.

In its place, a 2008 Jade Sea Metallic Yaris Sedan. Automatic, power windows, AC, etc... 39000 miles for $10350. They were asking $13295 on the webpage and I had it down to the $10350 before I even made it to the dealership, just by calling them on the phone. I would have settled at $11k.

im just starting to get interested in modding my Yaris. You will probably see me around here a bit from now on.

My YRS is all factory ATM but am looking a doing a few things to it in the not too distant future. Rear discs, new wheels, new lights and what ever else i can get my head and wallet around. (I'm totally new to car tech but am learning fast! Be warned, I'm likely to ask a lot of seemingly dumb questions.

i just bought my ole lady a brand new 2010 yaris hatch back, im looking for a lip kit & a sc, will need more hp for when i put new rims on, i have 2 solara's a 2000 se 5sp thats the 1st sc'ed 3.0 that puts out 304.5 whp 302.7 lbft with a stock engine without nitrus & 2002 sle 3.0 auto 291whp, 285.3 lbft, looking to find out more about the yaris, so let the mods begin http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1pLigAQIFzw ........
