I'm watching TV and posting on YW via my t-mobile G1 phone with the Google Android OS. I prefer using a computer though.

I honestly have no idea how much "data" I use every month, I know my plan is unlimited everything... If I were you, I'd buy the phone outright, financing seems like a bad idea, maybe thats just me

the google phone is supposed to be really good, I have yet to see it in person - one of these days i can catch back up to modern technology ;)

I originally wanted an iPhone but the $70 a month only got me 450 minutes a month with the unlimited data plan. With t-mobile I got to keep my 1500 minutes for the same monthly fee.

I'm currently using a G1, I have limited experience of the iPhone through friends, and well, design and user interface-wise, nothing can touch the iPhone... Though the G1 does have some tricks up its sleeves, on-screen keyboards are great but nowhere as nice as proper clicky keys (and even so, the G1's keyboard is nowhere as nice as a regular BlackBerry's

The camera on the G1 sucks big time. Takes ages for it to focus, but the time it takes the picture, whatever you were taking a picture of, will no longer be there. Unless you take a picture of a rock or brick, but still, no guarantees.

But, the G1 has major geek appeal. Being essentially a Linux-phone, it's very hackable, writing applications for it should be relatively easy too... Oh and I forgot to mention how well it integrates with many of Google's web-based services, Gmail and contacts, obviously...

I could go on and on and on and on but I think you can find more information by digging around online, so,to summarize, if you want something that is really sleek and user-friendly (though limited), go ahead with the iPhone... If you want something a bit more challenging/rewarding, but that won't win you any style awards, go G1...

Oh yeah back on topic, got home from work recently, finished a bit more work, now taking a lil YW break before getting some more work done
