I'd like to try out some rolling shots. Who has the softest suspension? I'm going to need to sit in the trunk while the car being shot paces diagonally from behind. This will be done in the storage facility, while traveling around 5-10 mph. What do you guys think? I've got a couple new things in mind, this being one of them. hahaha

If my friend goes with me, you camera guys will have a blast.
I will try to get my car cam more rigid. Its more of the fact that its attached to the headrest, the seat has some forth and back play. Im sure i can motion track stabilize it later tho.

I would say if Tomate goes, she would have the softest suspension. My car would not be anywhere near soft as the TRD shocks and S.Tech combo is pretty harsh (car barely moves when I get in or out). I'm not sure what everyone else is lowered on, so I don't know who would have the softest set up if Tomate doesn't go.

PS.....anyone coming from south bay or east bay......take 280. Stupid gps says to take 101 but it takes you through SF downtown.....BIG NO NO if you dont want to get hit by muni buses or drivers there. <==This was my experience from last time... |

2. If you are going through SF, you really have no choice but to go downtown really. I recommend going Van Ness to Lombard to the GG bridge although if you are coming from the south-east bay, you are much better off just going 880 to 80 to 580 (follow the signs for Vallejo/Sacramento and eventually San Rafael. Saturday night for me. I could bring my detailing kit along though. LOL

Uhhh, guys:
Sunday: A 20 percent chance of rain. Partly sunny, with a high near 66. West wind between 6 and 8 mph. Sunday Night: Rain likely. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 50. Southwest wind around 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. That's for Mill Valley for Sunday. And that's from weather.gov, not .com. Crap! I guess it's going to be a dirty car meet. I'm not going to wash my car if there's a chance of rain, even if it is just 20%. hahahaha http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick...2=-122.544&e=0 |

Damn, if it's raining during the meet, it's going to be hard to do a photoshoot.

How about the storage, we can do a shoot there, right?
I desperately need to wash my car.....I think I am going to chance it :P Thanks for the weather update Laz. ***Taylor**** Are there any structures where we can all park our cars and do a mini photoshoot before the cruise? If not, we can cruise first and find great scenery to photoshoot as well..... You know the place better than any of us....so please lead the way... Last edited by Kioshi; 04-16-2011 at 03:18 AM. |
