118,500 miles on my '07.

No repairs (as my sig shows). Maintenance excluded of course. Just oil changes, tires, and a serpentine belt change at around 90K as a precaution.

Feels exactly like new. Never seen a car that doesn't show any sign of degradation at well over a 100K. Usually, the "feel" changes, the sounds begin to change, ect. Toyota knows how to tighten bolts.

All warranty. Hmmm.....I forgot about this thread. I posted a few years ago about my '09 hatchback, but I rolled it in Oct. '09. Here's my new Yaris' info:

2010
3-door hatch
Carmine red
45K miles
averaging 40MPG

I have had absolutely no mechanical issues with this car! The paint, on the other hand, not so good. Winter driving has taken its toll on the front end....it looks like it's been sandblasted. Oh well. The only parts I've replaced have been the wiper blades and I replace them once a year on all my cars, just as a precaution.

I love my Yaris!

3-dr Hatchback, Manual
Absolutely Red
65,000 miles
45mpg on daily 1.25 hour commute (each way)

Maintenance: Wipers, Synthetic Oil and Filter, Air Filter, Cabin Filter, Synthetic Gear Oil, Tires, and Lucas Fuel Treatment

Mods (that might change things): DF210 springs, rear MI anti-swaybar, K&N drop-in air filter, under-hood alternator wire upgrade, and other irrelevant toys.

Problems: Lots of stone chips on bumper, a few on the hood, scratched rear bumper, dent in drivers front quarter panel, and replaced front windshield (small chip cracked the glass in half within 3 hours). Who's fault? Bad Michigan Roads, and Worse Road Crews!

I inspect the car every oil change (7,500 miles) while it's on my lift, and I don't see any issues starting.

I signed up today to see if anyone heard of the same problem my wife and I are having.

Year: 2008
Mileage: 74,xxx
Model: 4dr Sedan
Color: Flint Mica

At 62k miles, our transmission went out and was replaced (by dealer due to our warranty)

At approx 70k miles, a bearing in our AC motor went bad, and they replaced that as well.

We are nearing the end of our warranty (80k miles) and i'm praying that if anything crazy pops up in terms of major mechanical problems, it does so before our warranty ends. Any advice out there?

Year: 2007
Mileage: about 65k
Model: 2 DR hatchback
Color: Bayou Blue

Been averaging only 27- 29 mpg. I do mostly around town driving, not much highway driving. This is disappointing.

In the first year of owning the car I had to have the passenger seat replaced because it wasn't locking. I also had the turn signal- light mechanism replaced because whenever I turned on my signal my high beams would come on.

It's been great otherwise.

Maintenance: Oil and filter changes, wiper blades, air filter & in-cabin air filter, tires, and a belt replaced.

I've had the car 5 1/2 years now and still haven't had to replace break pads.

I have some scratches, a lot from rocks and pebbles on the road, but last summer my friend backed into it, in his own driveway, he buffed out the paint scuff but there's still fairly deep scratches there.

No modifications, though I want to get the windows tinted and this evening I'm going out to buy some wheel covers and spray paint and have myself some colored wheels. That should be fun.

Also I'm new here, so hi everyone!

Fixed the title to include other info.

Let's include:

2007
3 dr
Black
32000
battery died, 2 flat tires (so far)

2 yrs ago the cheapo stock battery kept dying and later found a dead cell, luckly it was replaced under warranty. Toyota like everyone else put the cheapest battery they can find.

Recently my tires started going flat one after another while the car was parked. Apparently in 2007 there was a batch of bad valve stems that cracked at the base due to bad formula mixture. If you bot your car around 07 from the midwest check your valve stems!

I think I've had atleast 2 flat tires, only replaced one though.
No major issues. Been getting regular oil changes & filter changes.

At 30,000 maintenace I was told I needed to 'Clean & Adjust rear brake shoes'. This was done.

I was also told I need to do a brake fluid flush & Fuel injection & throttle body cleaning.

Have not done these, and havent decided if I need to. Some people say to do it, some don't..

About 7 1/2 weeks after this post I had 215,956 miles and that same day contraband831 had only a bit less but over 215K. It wasn't me (I don't have a fuelly account and I hit 203k before March). I doubt it was contraband831, but it might have been...that would have meant a fair amount of driving in 7 1/2 weeks though. There is another person whose screen name starts with a capital S (can't remember the full screen name) who was at almost the same mileage level contraband831 and I reached in May at around that time. It might have been that person or perhaps the person is not also a Yarisworld member. Definitely not Mazilla, trini_per4mance, nor yaris9876 as they are all way above that with Mazilla at or near 500k miles, trini at 472k+ miles, and yaris9876 at 325k+ miles.
