Ok I'll make a new thread for The First Texas Meet at my house in Sept and chongopants make one for the 2nd Texas Meet at you house for Oct.

I can see this thread really confusing alot of people that want to make it to a meet.

Hey do you guys think I could put a vitz ecm in my us yaris and it would remove the speed cap? Reason I am trying to fix that is b/c I am about to turbo the thing and if I can't fix that first whats the point...lol

I don't believe so. Also your top speed is limited by aero. and gear to RPM ratio.

No, it stops at exactly 100mph and a revlimiter kicks in and stops it.. I know what a revlimiter feels like...

I just saying you won't get much higher than that. Also do you have an automatic or manual? Because I know my cars fuel shut off is at 118mph

its AT, and I have removed a lot of weight, rear seat, plastic, tire, jack. So if the fuel shuts off at 118, can I get around that? New ECU or fuel pump?

I can help add a couple hundred pounds of audio equipment if you want :) Other than that i'm useless with the yaris ECM :(

I saw your thread LRR. My fiance will put in for the weekend off and we should know in a couple of days. I'm gonna be pissed if she cant come. Shes gonna be pissed when i go w/o her :P

I've topped out at about 105mph in my yaris but that was because of silly little things like traffic in front of me on the highway, I only hit the rev limit when I'm showing off in 1st & 2nd gear. :)

I suggest we move this particular ecm topic over to another thread for the d-i-y or how-to guru's to hash out. :)
