Must've been taken before this post on July 1. That sounded like the car was done except for buffing.

That was part of our discussion last week. He said I could get it, but he wouldn't be able to do the all the little detail he wanted. So rather than have waited all this time I figured a few more days to have an even better paint job. He texted me this afternoon, decided to go with a two-tone scheme on the lower sides of the car, said it looked killer and promised a pic (which I have yet to receive). Also smoothed out every single little dent and ding the car got the past 6.5 years as a daily driver. I know it's GOTTA be close! When I finally get it back, I'm changing my signature pic which has been the same since 2007. |

This car will be truly unique and everyone that sees it will know that a lot of time was put into it. The painter is doing an incredible job IMO. The waiting has to suck but it's going to be well worth it when you drive it home

Mine literally could be any day now. The last message I got from him about 2 hours ago was "Done."
But you still could win knowing my Cuz. I think I must hold the record for longest paint job on here. |

the car is nearly a mythical creature that can't be captured, we shall call her Unicorn from hence forth.

He's being a perfectionist about it, removing every single ding, which of course meant more filler, sanding, primer, paint, clear... My tabs expire on Monday, he said he's delivering on Friday... |

"The Unicorn". LOL
"Done." LOL. Meaning he's done, but the car's not. Pugs ftw.

For how much $$$$ I've had to spend on repairs, maintenance and fuel for the pathfinder I almost could have paid for half of Garm's Yaris!

Sound alittle like my Bro-In-Laws shop, took him nearly 5 years to re-store a '66 Mustang fastback. Well I guess that's alright, his personal '39 Ford projects been going for something over 15 years now. Makes me re-building my Celica GTS seem mild, I've been working on it off and on since 2010!!
