I'm a private investigator & wanted the least conspicuous color I could get. That probably means silver/gray. My choices at the dealer were red or white, so I picked white, hoping it wouldn't stand out too much.

I got white, and as I bought used I had to look a while. I got it, and the windows dark tinted, because it looks cool, literally and figeratively! Doesn't fade, and covers the dirt pretty much.

I havn't heard any mention of visiblilty issues in a color choice, and by that I mean other drivers seeing you better. Maybe with the daytime running lights not a big issue? But, I seem to remember some study done years ago, don't ask me where or when, and it showed silver was a color involved in lots of crashes

Had Flint Mica, love it but come dirty easely. Crashed it last winter.
Since i crashed i decide to choose a color i'd never get bored.
So i now have a Silver 1E7.

But i like dark colors cuz i think it makes the car more "sport"...

Got Meteorite because it looked like a more expensive paint seen on more costly cars.
The only red they had was a bare bones 5speed.

Mediterranean Mica because I've never had a red car before and at the time I thought it was destinctive. I now see a bunch of Toyota's everyday in that color, lol I still like it . Everytime I come outside I think, what a cute car.

Same story, however, the Metallic, was the loss leader the day I got my car. To get a car for the news paper sales price is always a good thing.

Nautical Metallic Blue,
Because I like this 'classy' colour.
However, if I'd known how pathetically soft the finish would be I'd have chosen a lighter colour to less show the scratches etc. It seems the slightest touch to the paint causes permanent, ugly damage.

I decied I wanted a red 2d HB manual.

The local dealer only had one manual on the lot.
It was a "carmine red" 2d HB.

So, I purchased it.
