My mom just called me and told me that our 12 year old dog Nick is in the last stage of Kidney Failure :(

We've had him since he was 6 weeks old in England and was our first show English Springer Spaniel. We got top honors at Cruft's dog show in 1997, traveled to all of England, Wales, Ireland, Scotland and even New Jersey to Houston, TX... I've had many good memories and trips with him and I'll be sad to see him go, but I will not let him suffer.

Should know more tomorrow, cross your fingers everyone!

Yup, that's it. I now know what a "corn dog" is and you now know what a "dagwood dog" is. This forum has everything

Sorry to hear that Morgan. I lost my 17 y.o. Jack Russell Terrier to heart failure 3 years ago. I know how hard it is to lose a pet that your attached to. I know you haven't lost your dog yet. Fingers crossed, but i have not heard of doggy dialasys.

Yes, yes it does! Now, when you visit the states you can ask for a corn dog...because I'm not sure anyone would know what a dagwood dog is. =) Ooo..and I'm safe if I ever travel to Australia..lol

thanks! I was trying to find something on the internet, we competed at Crufts 2000 in the Gundog stakes but all of the web pages only list results for the females not the males, boo!

Springers are awesome dogs, since I moved out I had to compromise and get a Chihuahua, love the little dog but he's no 45lb, ball crazy spaniel!
