Well, I sure wonder about some people's idea of international travel. 50lbs? 70lbs? For luggage?? My wife and I travelled to Europe for 6 weeks, had a hell of a good time, and brought quite a bit of stuff back. We had an under-seat bag each. Period. When the bags filled up, we shipped the stuff back to ourselves for a few bucks a box, it was all waiting for us when we got back.

That philosophy paid off again and again: go through customs carrying the one bag, nothing else, and the customs gestapo just let you pass. We got caught in a train strike, which required us to hike about 1/4 mile for an alternative line: easy, we just grabbed our bags and went, leaving the Others to scramble about looking for their stuff and luggage wagons. They missed the connection, we didn't. Looking for a hotel/B&B didn't mean having to come back to retrieve our luggage, it came with us.

There are too many alternatives. In the old days, (and maybe again, soon) one paid for ANY luggage. Air freight is cheap. Laundromats are everywhere. Drinking on an airplane never enhances the trip, and promotes jetlag. We travelled to see Europe, not for Europe to see us!

However, diff'rent stokes for diff'rent folks, I guess...

annoys the fuck out of me when people use "of" in place of "have" after verbs such as could, would, should, might and must...."would of been", it's "would have been" MFs...

I hate that my wife lost her job. I hate that now I have to sell my Jeep and her Solstice. I hate that she can't find a good paying gig right now. I hate that both my wife and I will have to get part time jobs in addition to our full time jobs to come close to the money we were making a month ago. I hate to hear rich bastards clammering for money to bail out the companies that they drained of funds and manged poorly in the firstplace. I AM JUST PLAIN OLD SCHOOL PISSED THE FUCK OFF. That's all for now, I'll be back with more later.

Not too happy about how some people around town cross busy streets without looking or having the courtesy to hurry-up and get to the sidewalk. Almost got into a wreck today because of them

No is right! I hate how the people at Starbucks and Seattle's Best will still fill the coffee cup up to the very top when I make it very clear to them not to. Are they fucking deaf?! That combined with the naturally bumpy ride of a small car causes several drops of coffee to shoot out of the little sip hole and onto the dash, steering wheel, cupholder, door panel, and floor mat. And that shit needs to be cleaned up right away, otherwise it sticks when it dries and I practically have to sand it out later...
