Meet: Bear Mountain Saturday July 14th
What is it: Toyota/Lexus/Scion Meet. BUT, open to anyone who wants to come. No cars will be Excluded as this is fun for all. :).
Where: Bear Mountain State Park, Bear Mountain, NY 10911 . http://www.bearmountaininn.com/ http://www.hudsonriver.com/bearmtn.htm http://nysparks.state.ny.us/parks/info.asp?parkID=55 When: Saturday July 14th. Time: Several people want it at 2pm, end of story. So I'm just going to make it at 2PM now. I'm NOT going to hold any resposibility if there is no room to park. Hopefully there will be, but I'm not taking responsibility for it. BBQ is "supposed" to be by permit only, but apparently they don;t really gove a crap. So bring stuff for a BBQ if you want. :) We're trying to get a portion of the back lot reserved as not to deal with other people. I'll post up on that as soon as I get word back from my friend. Directions From the Palisades Interstate Parkway (north or south): Get off at exit 19 (Bear Mtn. Park) and take Seven Lakes Drive for 3 ˝ miles to the Bear mountain Circle. At the circle, take the second right. Follow the signs to Parking Lots. If you miss exit 19, take the Parkway to the Bear Mountain Bridge Circle. At this circle, make the first right onto 9W south and go to the traffic light. Bear right and go up the hill. From the North via I-87 (NY Thruway): Take I-87 south to exit 16 (Harriman). At the traffic light turn left onto Route 32, At third light, turn left onto Route 6 east. Take Route 6 east to the Queensboro Traffic circle. At circle, make the third right onto Palisades Interstate Parkway north. Take exit 19. From the North via Route 9W: Take 9W south to the Bear Mountain Bridge Circle. At the circle, go ˝ way around to Route 9W south. At the first traffic light bear right and go up the hill. From the north via I-84: Take I-84 west to the second exit after the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge (Route 9W south). Take Route 9W south about 18 miles to the Bear Mountain Bridge Circle. At the circle, go ˝ way around to Route 9W south. At first traffic light, bear right and go up hill. From New York City via Palisades Interstate Parkway: Take the upper level of the George Washington Bridge. Take the very first right onto the Palisades Interstate Parkway north. Go about 42 miles to exit 19. From the South via Garden State Parkway: Take the Garden State Parkway north to the last exit (I-87/287, NY Thruway). Go east/south on I-87 to exit 13N (Palisades Interstate Parkway north). Go about 19 miles to Exit 19. From the West via Route 17 or I-84: Take Route 17 east to Exit 130A (Bear Mountain) to Route 6/Long Mountain Parkway. Take Route 6 east to the Queensboro Traffic Circle. At the circle, make the third right onto the Palisades Interstate Parkway north. Take exit 19. Last edited by ASG14; 07-13-2007 at 07:57 PM. |

yo um should we get a list of things to bring started? if we are considering a BB-Q maybe we should start organizing what we need to have to make it worthwhile obviously everyone should bring whatever food and drink they want to devour, but maybe we can see who has the best grill to bring etc. i dont know just a suggestion. just figuring we can figure this stuff out now instead of last minute

Sorry for the late update. I finally rebuilt my damn laptop so it works and I got the links for the threads again, and death in family.
The Meet time will be known on Wed. I SHOULD know Wed if my friend is able to reserve a small section of the parking. Decent chance he car. If not, meeting time will need to be early as the lot fills up fast. BTW, IF I missed you, PLEASE tell me! 1: GryffynRyde (9thGC) 2: ASG14 (Misc Forums) 3: t3han0maly (9thGC) 4: toyrolla03 (9thGC) 5: corollamadness (9thGC) 6: jerkratt (Yaris World) 7: njyaris (newbie from Yaris World) 8: ROCKLAND TOYOTA (Yaris World) 9: drifto (Yaris World) 10: Kipperm13 (Club Lex) 11: BXNIT (Yaris World, sorry, I forgot to add ya. ) 12: rr87 (MR2OC) 13: javi1012 (Supra Forums) 14: zsanz (ScionLife) 15: terror81 “maybe” (ScionLife) 16: twinturboheart + Friend (MR2OC) 17: Kisho710 (MR2OC) 18: Blurvision (MR2OC) 19: 20: |
