My car after TRD Springs and Sway Bar
Here are a few pictures of my car after I put on the TRD Springs and Sway Bar. I did the install by myself and the hardest part was the top nuts to remove the front spring assembly. I managed to do it without removing the cowl and wipers. I'm going to get a wheel alignment in a week or so, just to be safe.

I just did the same thing and I'm diggin' it! I didn't measure but I think 1"-1.5" drop...looks like more than 1", but maybe not quite 1.5".

Don't forget that it's going to drop more once the springs settle in. Expect another .5" or so.

No rubbing even with 17" wheels, but have been solo in the car so far. That might change with passengers/gear, etc. I have a Megan Racing muffler and I think the pipe and axle beam make contact sometimes. I'm going to try some shorter rubber exhaust hangers to see if it solves the problem. Other than that, I'm good!

I have the same springs and sway bar along with 17's. Ive never rubbed. Also, look forward to an additional 1/2" drop as they settle.
Ride quality is def. firmer but I believe the springs are progressive, so that helps a bit. The 17's kill the ride much more than the springs. |

Yeah, I have 17" x 7" rims with +42 offset, 205 40 17 tires and there is no rubbing. The car definitely handles better, but ride is a bit rougher. I like it, but my wife noticed a difference right away. The car bounces a bit, but that is due to the stock struts and shocks. Maybe next year I'll replace them.

I have factory Toyota guards but they don't look like yours, looks like the Canadian guards are different. Thanks
