205/55/15 or 205/50/15 anyone??

Can somebody help me in giving opinion for which size is best fit my 15" wheels??
Right now i'm using tein s-tech spring (green one) which drop for around 2inches and wheel specs 15x7 with ET 40. I'm planning to use the 205/55/15. Will it rub??

It will rub! I know, cuz I had the same set up. You're better off with 195 55 15 tires. If you like your car super low to the ground without rubbing, get 195 50 15's. If you still want the 205 55 or 205's, get some camber bolts.

I run 205/55 on 40mm and I only rub during hard corners at high speed or big ass bumps on the freeway...at high speed. That's on factory shocks/struts and Tanabe DFs.

ETA: I'm on 15x6.5...

15x7 +40 with 205/55/15 on Tein's will rub on corners and big bumps. Best to go with 205/50/15's or 195/55/15's.

With 15 x 7, ET40 lowered on Tien s-tech, I would go with 195mm tyres.

I'm 205-50-15 and 15x7 et41 for the summer....rub on the drivers side on hard hard corners....lowered with eibach sportlines

Winter I'm on 185-60-15 and cobalt steelies ...I rub on minor dips. I'd hate to run the 205-55 size for the summer...it'd rub like crazy

prokits and 205-55-15 has lots of room for suspension travel:

sportlines and 205-50-15

sportlines and 185-60-15 (same height as 205-55-15)...rubtastic...

205/50/15 should work well, at least in my experience with them.

What if the suspension is stock, would 205/50/15 or 205/55/15 still rub with 15x7 40mm ?

15x7, ET40, 205/55/15, stock suspension or mild (TRD) drop will work well under normal driving conditions.

hate to bring her back from the dead, but I will get my sportlines from Microimage today or tomorrow. et45 mini cooper rims, 15" at 5.5" wide. was going to try to use the 175/65/15 tires I have on my steelies. I read they are 23.96" in diameter.... but I guess they are a little narrower than 185/60/15? just curious of what you guys think.
