Would 17's with a 50 or 55 high tire fit my sedan with stock height? Been thinking about maybe going with a bigger rim..

Anyone have a pic of 17's with stock height?

That would be one honkin' big oversized tire.

Depending on width, 50s and 55s belong a 15 or 16 inch wheel. 17s require 40 or 45 to stay close to OEM overall diameter.

lol!!! That's true..lol!!!

Well...was thinking since I do haul my family around in this bad boy..thinking about the weight issue with scrapping action. This island is full of freeekin potholes....

Looking right now at that spring rate thread...leaning toward the Teins H Tec..I heard the S Tec get below the stated drop...to about maybe 2 inches. That might be a bit much with a full family in the sedan..lol!!!

But really leaning toward those feathers..

Just to give you some things to look at and colors to consider:

your everyday standard silver

black with polished lip

gunmetal with polished lip

machined polish with black lining (can't remember the correct term for it right now)

gunmetal

polished

Last time I checked (which was long, long, long, long ago), Tein never made the H.Tech for the Yaris. Oh, I'm on the S.Tech's by the way.

With people in the back on any drop you may scrape. Thats why I removed my backseat, now no one can sit there at all.

Kaotic I think that color is called machined face.

On which rims? My G-Line G817 rims were full machine polished, face and lip, with that black lining. My Work VS-XX are regular polish (look more like chrome).

Yeah, machine polish has a distinct look to them. They have a duller polish to them, which I actually prefer. The same kind of polishing process was used on OEM rims, like that of the Accord and the newer Civic Si's.

Platinum electroplated, eh? So it's kind of like powder coated, I assume. lol.

So on with the choices. Thanks for the pics...they all look sweet!! Thanks guys. Gotta scrape up some scripts now to get my springs first. Then onto the wheel/tire combo..
