An 8 incher...

I'm looking at a wheel for a 2016 Yaris and it's 16x8 offset 38. I think I could swing that offset however the width is alarming. Does anyone know if an 8 inch width will fit? Discount Tire says it will but I wanted to check with you guys/gals because I know you're the real experts. Thanks!

Lots of 8 inchers have been used over the years. Depending on what you classify or can tolerate as a rub, you will experience some. Less so if you stretch your tires.

The other considerations are the tire size and any suspension mods. Also depends on if you care about wheel rub at full lock when turning, or if you plan to do AutoX or something that will load your suspension all the way to the bump stops. Spend some time browsing the wheels & tires forum and see what other people have done.

I used this site to give me an idea of what each wheel tire set would change.
http://www.willtheyfit.com

It gives a wire frame of two different setups and dimensions.

16x 8 will fit front and rears just fine. I ran 25 offset without issues and now running 16x 9 15 offset no issues in the rear and a 16x8 25 offset in the front. On bags but ride it at same height as the DF210s. tires 205/40 rear 195 45 fronts
