Lowering JUST the back of the sedan
just a tiny bit,
what do you think of this idea? i have noticed on the sedan it seems that the back wheels have much more space between tire and wheel well then the front, causing the car to look like the back wheel is somewhere around an inch smaller then the front... its obv just an illusion but i really dont like it, especially for when i plan to put new 17 inch wheels on, i will be extremely pissed if the back wheels look smaller just because of this... so what do you think? and how much should the back be lowered? |

Perhaps you should go with a mild drop all around.
I'd fear that the stock wheel well openings will look huge with 17's and low-profile rubber installed. I installed TRD springs in my sedan. They're advertised at 1.2" drop but mine has settled at closer to 1.5" after a while. You might consider the Eibach springs which are advertised to drop 1" only. Or just throw some junk into the truck to lower the tail only.

A great mild drop is the Tanabe NF210 springs. They drop -1.2 front and -1.6 rear on the sedan. They ride great too...

As Peter suggests, the Tanabes do even out the gap. Maybe the other brands do also, but I don't know.

Its because the way the rear fenders are. The easiest way to fix this is to get wheel spacers to bring the wheel out so its more flush with the body. Cause if you lower the car it will only make it more obviouse.

That's correct, both cars share the same spring set up and the Tanabe part numbers are the same.
