That's where I got my Yaris over at Competition, but now have a partial sponsorship with Atlantic in Amityville.

Is that the same owners as Atlantic in West Islip and do you and your Yari represent them in shows then?

i thought this was all figured out already ??

anyways.. all 08+ cars from Canada have a chip. It doesn't matte if it's a 9000$ hyundai or a 50000$ Lexus... it's a law in Canada since 2008, that all new cars are to have a chip in the key.

By the way.. the TR47 is sofa king ugly.... the TR47P has plastic on top of it.. looks more OEM.

They did'nt have the "P" version. The key I bought stays on the key rack at home with everyone elses. It's basicly the "I lost my keys, can you bring me the one on the rack" phone call key.
It fits the bill and has my name on it since we all drive Toyotas (3).
BTW: where did you get that neat caliper keychain?

The caliper keychain was from the 2006 F1 Grand Prix in Montreal.

Someone mentionned (maybe Rockland Toyota) that US Yarii do not come with immobilizer.

Don't spend $12+ on a dealer key if you don't need to.
ummmmm...what exactly are you 'debunking? if that picture is of a rubber head key then you do not have a transponder in it.....

09's do as an option that is part of the power package (see the exerpt from my car's build sheet below).

When I installed my remote starter, I received the wrong key bypass module, but I went ahead and installed the remote starter while waiting for the correct one. Just for kicks I triggered the remote starter without the bypass module and the car cranked for about 5 seconds without firing.

Power Package: Includes power door locks, .. 1580.00
power windows, power outside mirrors, ......
60/40 split, reclining, sliding, fold-flat .
rear seat, AM/FM CD player with MP3/WMA ....
playback capability, auxiliary audio jack, .
satellite radio capability and CD text .....
display function, rear window wiper, rear ..
window defroster, 15-in. steel wheels with .
full wheel covers and engine immobilizer ...
