The best entries on my fuel log were:
481 km for 32,67L giving an average of 6.79L/100km or 34.6 MPG 276 KM for 17L giving an average of 6.16L/100km or 38MPG 500km for 31L giving an average of 6.2L/100km or 38 MPG 409km for 24L giving an average of 5.87L/100KM or 40MPG This on a 3rd gen 1NRFE 6MT. Now I will be honest: 1st- I don't have a clue how I managed to pull 40MPG on a mix of city and a type of road we have here that is like a highway but with no more than 3 lanes, speed limit of about 100kph/60mph most of the times 80kph/50mph to travel inside the city. 2nd-My real average that I do almost every day is 7L/100km (33.6MPG) on my best days and 7.5L/100km (31.4MPG) however, I have some fill-ups that go something like: 127km for 11L giving an average of 8.69L/100KM or 27MPG My car computer reads 7.2L/100km (32.7MPG) and I have lead blocks on my right shoe so if you do worse than 30MPG without city stop and go you have worse problems than your fuel economy |
