Hi Taiwan,

I see the Yaris is becoming very popular in Taiwan!

I'd really like to know what upgrades you guys make to your cars... wheels and tires and that kind of thing.

BTW, I lived in Dan Shui for 5 years (1999-2005) where I taught psychology at Jen Li University. I love Taiwan. I met my beautiful wife there.

Now, I live in Florida, and I have a red Yaris 3Dr Hatchback. It's a great car!

Nice to meet you.
Yaris in taiwan TOYOTA,the wheels and tires have three sizes.
14 inch alloy wheel (175/65/14 tire)
15 inch alloy wheel (185/60/15 tire)
16 inch alloy wheel (195/50/16 tire)

My friends like to use 16 inch alloy wheels(Change OZ,WORK,ENKEI ,
...),and me too(taiwan TOYOTA).
But I change the tires with CONTINENTAL CSC2 205/45/16 and TRD Sportivo Suspension.

使人和女孩在Yarisclub.com.tw 張貼一點在yarisworld.com

I come from Taiwan,too.
And I live in Taipei now.
Yaris is becoming more and more popular in Taiwan. The average amount of selling of Yaris is about 1,300 per month.

The biggest drawback of Yaris in Taiwan is the lacking of Constant temperature control system otherwise she looks more gorgeous to me

I'd love to see some pics, for comparison to US markets. Also, maybe some photos of mods done in Taiwan?
Love to see the worldwide love

喂 Course,

Anyway, I think everyone would love to have some information from Yaris owners in Taiwan.

Please read the Yarisworld forum and join in.

And, did you lower your car, or is it stock height?

it's called 寶石藍 in Taiwan. I think it's deep blue a little like BMW blue

The Rim which is 16 inch ,7J made by Taiwanese. If you really like it, you can visit the auction website below
http://tw.search.bid.yahoo.com/searc...ris+oz+16&xyz=
It is OZ-look with tires GOODYEAR F1 GSD3 (made in Thailand) 205/45/R16

There is no manual-gear model Yaris sold in Taiwan. 3 types(E/G/S) of Yaris in Taiwan are equipping with 4-speed automatic gearbox transmission.

I did lower my Yaris by TEIN S.TECH Springs.

By the way I was graduate from Tamkang University 4 years ago.

And now I am working at Institute of Information Industrial (III) for 2 years.

Did anyone knwos if there is any fish-eye headlight kit for Yaris' HID ?
I do love fish-eye HID headlight on my another BMW (e39 528)

Course,

What I am looking for are the OEM (original) 6-spoke 16" Yaris alloy wheels (available on S-model) in good condition.

If you know of any, let me know.

BTW, what is the offset (ET) of your Taiwanese wheels?

I sold it in 5,000 NT for 4 pieces (really very cheap)
When I replace the OEM rim, the mileage is just more than 200km (quite new)

This 6-spoke rim's ET value is 51. If you like this rim, you can visit yahoo auction in http://www.yahoo.com.tw. But the shipment will cost a little higher(This rim is really really really heavy ) approximate 8 kgs. So the total weight is 70 lbs.

Did you perhaps mean FISH-EYE FOG LIGHTS by any chance?

In Taiwan, we do have FISH-EYE FOG LIGHTS already, the auction webpage is followed.
http://tw.page.bid.yahoo.com/tw/auction/1160783175

But they add CCFL around the fish-eye, the taste is becoming lower and lower. I don't like that. It's unnecessary.

Thanks for your kindness kimona.
