U.S. Release date
so i had talked to someone via the yaris chat function on the us page.
and they told me that toyota dealers would have the yaris in showrooms by mid feb. so i went down to my local dealer this afternoon, excited to see the car i would be buying soon. but when i got there i was (rudely) told that they wont be out for another five months. any one had a similar experience, or has anyone seen a yaris at there toyota in the US? |

actually i emailed my local dealer and got this response...
Hi Brian, My name is Jamie Flesher and I am an Internet Specialist for Burdick Toyota. Thank you for your email and your interest in our 2007 Toyota Yaris. It looks like the release date for the Yaris will be sometime in March, 2006. Base model pricing is ranging between $10.950 - $14,050 depending on the model and does not include the various option packages (Convenience and/or Power Packages) that will be offered on the vehicle. Initially, this will be a vehicle that will be sold for the MSRP price. I would be glad to schedule an appointment to discuss your vehicle preferences. One of our product specialists can explain the differences between the models as well as listen to any other needs that may be of importance to you. Just let me know of a day and time that is convenient and I will make sure someone is ready and waiting to assist you. You can contact me with any questions by replying to this email or by phone at 315-458-7590. I look forward to working with you and having the opportunity to earn your business. Sincerely, Jamie Flesher Internet Specialist Burdick Toyota 315-458-7590 |

I didn't like the hyundai accent, didn't feel like a solid car, and the interior is really really basis. The honda fit looks like a small van to me, but i have seen some pic of the fit, fixed up, and they do seem to look pretty nice, but then your spending lots more money on body kits and big rims and spoilers. For now i'll stick with my 5 Door Yaris RS.
just my 2 cents |
