can i / where to get factory switch for aftermarket fog lights? and exhaust tip q.

I found my Yaris S, but not exactly to my liking, so I have to add fog lights aftermarket, and a stainless steel exhaust tip. Ouestions: is it possible and where can I get a factory switch for aftermarket fog lights? I want it to 'match' my car, otherwise I feel it looks tacky. If possible, is the factory switch gonna work with my aftermarket fog lights, or do I have to buy toyota fog lights to work with the switch (which I don't think you can just 'buy').

Next... for the exhaust tip, do I just buy the tip and go to my local muffler shop to get it welded or what? Thx

You can try to adapt something from another toyota vehicle.. but i'm pretty sure most fog light controls are included on the regular lighting stem

I don't know about the switch, but you can get an exhaust tip from this board sponsor: http://www.trdsparks.com/

It doesn't need to be welded, you just tighten one bolt.

Here's how it looks on my liftback:

Thx 4 the link Violin!! Umm.. can a gal like me tighten the bolt? And I know the name is *stainless* steel, but will it turn brownish after awhile?

Also.. anyone got news on the fog light switch?

To each his own. It's part of the styling package "D" for the Japanese Vitz. I like it.

Oh good! Do it first because I was about to use some Krylon spray paint on that thing, and a little bird on my shoulder told me that was completely idiotic... even with clear coat.

Hi with most exhaust tips...u DO NOT weld it on.....it simply has 3 - 4 screws. You just need a screw driver, attach the exhaust tip and screw it tight!! (dont think dirty now :P)

I baught an oval exhaust tip.....ill post pics when it arrives...

The tip from Toyota just has a pipe clamp built into it. Tighten one bolt and you're done.

Fair enough... if you're getting them sprayed then I guess a DIY would make no sense anyway! Can't wait for pictures, though.

You are not the first to get sent the wrong tip from Ken@Sparks.

Search, and you will find a thread where it happened to a few members, and Ken had one sent out ASAP, and the wrong one shipped back...

Fear not, Ken will correct the problem.
