Compatible outside mirrors
Hello!
Last week a truck hit one of the mirrors and broke it I have a 2009 liftback (hatchback). Does a mirror from another second gen works? For example, a 2005 or 2006? Looks like in my country there are no parts for 2009, and I would like to avoid the hassle of importing one myself. BTW, it is a manual mirror. PS. I can get electric ones, for about $70 a pair, plus another $40 for cables and switches. Are they worth it? Can I modify them to work like manual ones? Cheers! |

Any 2nd gen Yaris mirrors will work (2006-2011, or 2005-2010 for Japanese imported vitz). I have done the switch from manual to power mirrors and it is very easy to do and a whole lot easier to adjust.

Thanks!
I actually found 2009 ones. Now I need the wiring system, probably will look over ebay. |
