for all the sedan owners......(56k warning)

well. tanaka-san sent me a package today. while mostly filled with non-car parts or even related to cars...at the bottom of the package was this:

he told me to scan and post it here. it's an interesting read. i glanced at it, and a Vitz one exists..i'm going to ask him to find me that one and sent it over with the next package. i will scan it within the next couple of days, possibly more.

edit: i realize now this belongs in the media section.

a fairer comparison.

since the US did not get this version of the fit. the comparison's aren't really all that fair. sedan v. wagon/hatchback? two different classes.

this is a fairer comparison. belta v. fit aria.

more scans later.

the sketches always look better than the final product, they always water it down. damn them!

these pictures are very good documentations for our forum,
maybe the mod can do something about it...
1. they were thinking driver side gauge other than center gauge...
2. they were thinking the civic like grill... haha...
3. belta is much better looking than fit sedan...
4. i can't read japanese, but women's choice is written big in kanji (chinese)

I wish I could read Japanese...that article on the sedan development looks really interesting and explaining the design process.

Why the US doesn't get all the goodies the Jap and European markets get in terms of interior features? (did you guys notice the cool Sound unit with Navigation, start button, and the auto AC unit??? scheeeet!!!)

It's hard to say if japan and europe get better stuff cause the belta in japan comes with the 1.0L and 1.3L engines. I'd rather have the 1.5L but having navigation, hid's and smart entry with the push start is nice too.
