Problem with GTspec strut bar installation

i can't seem to get the second hole in......do i have to 'bend' force it in?

sorry but i opted to not take their front strut bar. maybe TREYZ will know?

Just thinking out loud here. Food for Thought.

1) Have you tried dis-assembling the unit, mounting the strut-tower (blue) pieces loosely, re-installing the cross member (silver bar) and then torquing all to spec. ?

2) have you jacked up the car so no wgt. is on the front suspension, thus relaxing the uni-body during installation. I've heard some strut bar manufacturers suggest this technique so it's bolted up with the car un-stressed by it's own weight.
