toyota/lexus win top quality ranking again

i'm not convinced that jd powers and assoc. gives a clear view of a car makers quality (ie. hyundai was no.2 last year)
but this year's rankings have come out and toyota is on top again, winning 11 of 19 of the criteria.

well they still won over half of the segments, and as you can see by your graph, honda and acura have some work to do.

What surprises me is that some Japanese names are positioned below the industrial average, and even below the German manufacturers. On the other hand, some GM brands have done quite well.

Well, I look at the graph, and the upper tier brands are all relatively close. As in the upper tier brands are generally quite reliable. I'm not sure why you mentioned Honda and or Acura; is that because I drive an integra? Do you assume I have a disdain for the Toyota/Lexus brand?

I guess I could mention Scion, made by Toyota and residing below the industry average ....

i remember you were pushing the honda fit in another thread, that's all, just having some fun.
i think a honda or a toyota are both good, reliable cars.
