DE-CAT my D4D help!!
im looking for help.. i want to de-cat my 2002 D4D but i am unsure as to weather this will cause any problem(engine management light)
at the moment my car is chiped insted of remaped iv also adjusted the actuator on the turbo to give me more boost so decating it should improve performance? |

The wiring diagrams for the 1ND-TV engine don't have the O2 and AF/R Sensors that the gasoline engines have, so it looks like there is no closed loop control on the emissions output. There also are no DTCs related to exhaust gas, as there are for gas engine Yaris, so I would say that if you decatted the D4D the car would be none the wiser.
