Need input on ULTRA RACING 23MM SWAY BAR VS NITTO REAR LOWER STRUT BRACE.
thinkin of getting either one of this 2 just cant decide which.
sway bar or rear lower strut brace..did ask garm and his comment was " completely different functions. Sway bar resists twisting to prevent roll. Underbrace prevents compression to stiffen the shocks." i dont track the car but want more stability..although the brace seems to stiffens the rear..would that give me less rubbing coz i do rub every now and then on the trd springs. thought the brace will cover additional on top of what the sway will do. ?????????????????????? unfortunetely i can only afford one of the 2..sigh... you don't track the car -- get the sway bar.

A swaybar will bring a smile to your face. I can't believe you haven't gotten one by now. I can't imagine DRIVING a Yaris without one.

BTW, I believe the 23mm sway bar is overkill for a daily driver. Save a few bucks and get the 19mm bar.

That would depend on ones driving style for the most part. Personally, I tend to drive somewhat agressively (I live in a moslty rural area) and I really like my 23mm bar. In addition, I find that the 23mm bar makes the Yaris very stable (and safe) on interstate type roads. |
