1st gen 1nz-fet are littered around the world (ncp13 rs/ts 2003-2005)
2nd gen 1nz-fet from a TRD turbo M (ncp91 2007-2010) ~between 1000-1500 made; was a dealer master kit.
3rd gen from a GRMN version (ncp131 8/2013 - ) ~200 made/yr.

Toyota Corolla Axio 1.5GT also has a 1nzfet...with a different cooling setup.

interesting... you know, it's been my knowledge that FE engines are an economy engine, wile high output engines are designated with a "GE;" wiliest a turbocharger added is designated with a "T" before the electronic ignition designation "E." shouldn't this engine be a "1NZ-GTE?" i wonder why Toyota doesn't know how to name this engine correctly?

its named -FET because it is added and designed by TRD, as a 1NZ-FE with Turbo addon.

there's another sports motor that's loved by many, the 4E-FTE..fully toyota designed with no "G" (wide angle valve) moniker.

Would anyone know of a decent turbo upgrade for the 1nzfet? Engines recently been fully forged so preferably a bolt on job with no add ons
