Catalytic converter pipe
The pipe connecting the catalytic converter to the muffler rotted off just about where the flange is at the muffler.
I see that Bosal has a "750-253" exhaust pipe, which is cryptically listed as "Repair pipe for 096-2609" 096-2609 on Bosal's pics is the catalytic converter. Is this the pipe I need to fix my issue? I'm basically looking for a pipe that I could weld to the back of the converter that would end up connecting to the muffler. Or should I be looking for or ordering something else? I'd try tin cans, but sadly, this stupid pipe has a bunch of bends in it. :( |

if you have a welder, just go to canadian tire and get a pipe that will slip over the rotted part. Grind the old pipe off the flange and weld it to the slip on and then you can clamp it on in place. I had to do this for my mother's '03 Matrix XRS.
