Makes it look so fresh and so clean clean clean...

On a brighter, more on-topic note, Betty goes to the shop today. By next week you may see an intake and exhaust for sale... for a combined price that will make you giggle.

I just got an e-mail from the dyno... they must have ZPI-titis. Their welder will be gone this weekend, so that means no test pipe for me. I wish I was dead. Guess it'll have to wait till next weekend.

In the meantime, I'm FINALLY driving the prototype up there tomorrow. I know I said I was going to ship it overnight, but the investment I've made in this project is already getting crazy. I'm going to have right around $1000 of my own money sunk into this by the time we start finishing them... kinda crazy.

Then we sit here and wait for MAF plates. I got to see an adapter they did for a custom Mustang CAI and I have to say it was pretty sweet. Whereas the hacked-up xA intake was a plate sunk into the piping, these adapters are concave so they fit to the contour of the pipe you're using. You literally cut a hole, slap it on and get to welding. Should make life very easy for us, but most importantly it makes the piece look very clean and professional.

Also, we finally sourced all the couplers we would need. We are using Turbonetics silicon tubing couplers. They're a little more expensive, but again, it makes the piece look cleaner, and it doesn't change the pricing goal that much.

Bippity boppity boo motherfuckers. I'm hoping for the group buy next weekend, but don't hold your breath. As I am finding out quickly in this mess, anything can happen. The more realistic, less optimistic guess is that you guys will see the first final product the weekend of the 31st. Then she goes out for some "independent testing" with the group buy nipping at the heels.

This is gonna be the slowest meet ever!

I am sure we can make it a Sunday or something, and plan it far enough in advance for everyone to ask off work....

Hey sf180th you want to come to Chino and I's Yarii customizing party out in his neck of the woods next weekend?
