I guess I am too old to really appreciate something like a speaker that takes up your entire trunk.

But hey, if it trips your trigger, that is great!

What size voice coil does that thing have ? If it's 2.5 Inches ..Wow, It'll basically be eye candy.

Still a nice lookin sub, and he's only using the trunk, just wait till the back seat is taken up as well = )

Reread the post it's a 4 Inch coil..nice

Its coming together!

More parts are trickling in for this build. Here is the aeroport I will use. Its a
6" x 17" (flared) Presicion Port. My 320 amp DC Power alternator and 7000 watt Stetsom amp should be in this week.

It's measuring your battery voltage, you want to know what that is so that when you're amp is drawing it's power you know what your voltage is dropping too. They even have some that plug into your cig lighter and give you a reading from there. If you're running a monster system 20 bucks is not a bad investment. My DMM (Digital Multi Meter ) Lives in my car.

I'll be happy to oblige! But dude, honestly, I don't think there's going to be much. The amp is rated for 7200 watts @ 1 ohm (13.8 volts), that's conservative. I'm gonna gain down to where I'm only drawing ~3500-4000. With the alternator and a couple batts, I'm not seeing much voltage drop in my near future.
