toyota yaris engine swap 1.3 to corolla 1.8 in Australia

good evening, I have been reading alot of posts on the net about doing a 1.8 corolla engine swap into my 2010 1.3yaris. I have a full 2012 corolla doner car, xd manual engine mounts, but the big question is the wiring. i have read people using a xd manual harness, are they a full plug and play or still need to modify the harness. I've seen in some countries they have a ts yaris 1.8 from factory. the xd manual harness from toyota is $2000. would the 1.8 factory ts harness be the way to go? I don't mind if I need to modify a harness, just need some info on the best way to go. any information be very much appreciated.
