More stolen parts from an XD!

First I did the side mirror mod from an XD...

Now..

Project cheapass BBK! (275mm vs 255mm, larger caliper/pads)
*This was months of research and self doubting to reality!

Scion XD/09 Corolla/Matrix Calipers USED: ~100$ off ebay; ~165$ on rock auto (semi-loaded caliper)
(toyo part# 47730‑12A10|47731‑12A10
06/2007-SCION XD - ZSP110 47-05: FRONT DISC BRAKE CALIPER & DUST COVER
12/2007-TOYOTA COROLLA -ZRE142 47-05: FRONT DISC BRAKE CALIPER & DUST COVER)

2012 Yaris SE rotors (toyota part# 43512-52130): ~105$ ea (msrp)
Napa Adaptive ONE pads w/ shims for Scion XD: 57$ (cheaper than buying shims and pad seperately, plus these pads are very HQ)

we're going to re-use the clips off the yaris' caliper. They are the same part #.

(optional) Steel brake lines off MI: 140$

=$322-$407 (or $462-$517 with brake lines)

Me and a buddy did a test fit just now, and everything fits fine.

modifications needed:

NONE!

**These are tested, no issue at all, ABS works, TCS works.

**funny how toyota accommodated the 275mm rotors with the dust cover lol. It now looks how it should be. The Euro TS/SR and JDM RS share the same dust cover.

Nice find! Have you tried triggering the ABS to see how it behaves with the bigger discs?

Andy, my Camry has 275mm rotors and 15" OEM steelies work fine. the ONLY concern would be the caliper clearence on the front of the rim, but I'd think it;s be fine. Let me know if you want the rotors since it doesn't fit my AE101.

Say, that's nice. Will be spot on with painted calipers. Almost makes me want to give up my current 14" OEM steelie winter setup.

Gonna get yourself an xD donut, or do you have triple A in case of a front flat?
