Original tail light without rear fog light for Yaris 3dr 2009-2011

Hi ,

my car (signature ) is the german version, so the tail light on the left have a rear fog light (it look like this ).
The right tail light have the reverse light (it look like this) - (turn signal in orange, the brake light is/have 6 LEDs).

I search a left tail light which look like the right (without rear fog light, with reverse light).
Turn signal in orange, or maybe white like this.

I could guess cars in countries with left-hand traffic (e.g. United Kingdom) could have this, or maybe countries which don't have the commitment to have a rear fog light...
(Maybe the UK tail lights have the *E* certification?)

You know where I could get such left tail light with reverse light (with *E* certification)?

Yours is the pre Facelift (2006-2008)...
My is the Facelift (2009-2011), the tail light have a little bit different shape.

My car should look like you car, left and right tail light look the same (without this rear fog light ).

I would like to use still my above mentioned right tail light (orange turn signal, LED brake light), just change the left tail light.

In the meantime I searched in the web and found the PR21W bulb.
It's like the reverse light (bulb), but in red.
The brightness is the same, 21 W.

Maybe I could take this red bulb then in the new left reverse light and I have still a red rear fog light?
But I guess it's not possible, because the tail light wasn't tested with this red bulb (no certificate on the glass as rear fog light). (the german road traffic regulations are annoying... )

So I would need to install an extra rear fog light in/under the bumper...

The tail light of your car... - is the rear light and brake light one bulb (P21/5W)?

I have the rear light (W5W bulb) and brake light (6 LEDs) separate.

I have an extra pair of the 09-11 tail lights. I looked at the labeling on them and they are only rated for US DOT. They looks the same as your right one, except our brake light is a bulb, rather than LEDs.

I'm barely ever in Germany. I'm going to have a look at my tail lights tomorrow. some of the previous cars I've had, had both DOT (USA) and E (Europe) codes on them.

So I thought you are connected with Germany...

In the meantime I searched in the web and found a picture of an UK Yaris here.
The car have this left tail light I want...
With orange turn signal and LED brake light.
I guess (hope) it have also an *E* certification - if it's an original Toyota UK part, it should.

I sent this morning an EMail to Toyota UK and asked because of this tail light and where I could get it.
I searched in the web, to now I didn't found an UK internet shop (which sell genuine Toyota parts) where I could get it...
Hmm... or maybe I contact one or two Toyota repair shops in UK - maybe they could send it to me...

I imported parts from them to the US and they were responsive to questions, so they should be able to give you an answer about the E mark.

Yes. I had to email them.
