Hi there, Markus. Welcome to the forums and congrats on your new car.
Yes, deck = stereo. The OEM stereo is pretty bad. There have been lots of complaints about it for years, including the CD reader crapping out (mine included). It might be a good idea to get a decent unit that has bluetooth capability so as to eliminate the need for an extra cable, but to each their own.

Hi exiwolfman/tk 421
Thanks for the advice, what i have done so far is ordered a belkin fm transmitter. I am reluctant to change the deck (i used to be a modifying addick and cant risk it). So hope the fm transmitter works!! Cheers for your help, i am just getting insurance qoutes and they are expensive in london just because i have not got any " no claims bonus" getting milked by the insurance companies. Thanks Markus |

Just get a Pioneer with usb, and that will fix everything.
The pioneers sound good, but where they really shine is there USB speed and ease of use. I have a Clarion that sounds better than my Pioneer, but the Clarion is by far the worst design interface, and is SLOOOOOOOOW as Fuk! Also puts hugh 3 seconds gaps between songs! But it does sound better. Quote:
