Good to see you created the box all by yourself....
Just quickly... is your sub removable (to get to the spare tyre???)
the spare tire had to come out to make the box, so it is just the sub and amps back there

I'll second that. And not just use them, but use them well!

The scale of female hotness in the eyes of a car guy:
3. Chicks who drive stick. (properly!)
2. Chicks who know how to turn a wrench and aren't afraid to get dirty.
1. Chicks who know their way around a race track!

Sadly, my wife is nowhere on this scale. What's up with that?

I concur. My wife has #3, some of #2, but hasn't ever done the racetrack thing. However, her name is Mercedes, so she gets a free pass.

Yeah, I've got 3 and 2 as well. Not going to worry about #1, though....
Not if it's MY car she's driving...

I got #3 and #2.

If you're talking about the 1/4 mile stretch, I've had a time or two on that rodeo. haha

I am going to have to remind my husband how lucky he is. LOL

A dragstrip does not equate to a "race track" in my book.

But, I guess it does count for something.

Autocross and road courses, yes. Something that requires turning both left AND right, as well as using the brakes.

The Yaris is actually pretty good at that sort of thing.

well I had some help on the springs, I'm not sure that I could of done it all by myself. It was definatly fun taking apart half the car to get to the front springs

And they are AG springs.... I got them off of ebay. And yes, I know some people think it's stupid to use not big name brand springs, but I really like them so far and they dropped her a good 2 inches.

I have an off brand also - Drop Zone, they get a bad rep too but I like them :) Mine are 2" also.

The springs are only hard to figure out the first time you do them - I was scared to death of the spring compressor the first time I ever put on springs (it was on my Nissan) because I was convinced they were going to snap somehow and the springs were going to go through whatever they were pointed at (I made sure that my dogs were locked on the farthest side of the house because I was told it could go through your walls LOLLL my guy friends told me that crap to scare me) it took me like 3 solid hours (and that was with the step by step instructions and my trusty Haynes manual), but it was worth it in the end.

.... and I learned I don't have to be so paranoid and that it isn't going to go be like a rocket going through your house if they do come off the compressor; but still don't let them point at you haha
