Installed TRD Quickshifter...thumbs up!
Sprung for the TRD shifter and TRD leather wrapped shift knob. The shifting is much shorter and I like it. This is the only thing I've done to the car so far besides regular service.
Cost me $135 for the kit and $30 for the knob. Bought it from the local dealership. The kit also came with a machined cable clamp, something I didn't see mentioned in the other threads about this kit. It was a pain but still only took an hour. Next will probably be the TRD anti-sway bar or the USDM rear spoiler. Sorry no pics. |

Good choice on you next mods! I'd recommend gettin' the sway bar next make a HUGE difference. I put it on mine and it's almost like night and day. Course if you wanted a stock spoiler that's cool too just suggesting

Nice, I'm not trying to make a race car or anything but I drive it 50 miles a day and would rather enjoy the time in the car more. Maybe the sway bar is the way to go.

You shoulda went to Sparks Toyota Website, printed out the TRD Quickshifter Page, It's $115 there, I know that Autoway is going to match the price for me.

NST's ssk is way better than TRD's! It's even anodized in colors!

Mine didn't but the TRD ball shift knob leaves a one inch gap between boot and knob so I may get another boot eventually but it looks fine so I may leave it.

No pics and I am not removing anything to see it better. Maybe TRD updated the kit?

The NST is $92 shipped (numerous supporting vendors) and none of these are going to diminish the value of the car. Anyone who knows what one is will appreciate it, and anyone who doesn't wouldn't notice it in a million years. Plus they take about 15 seconds to remove/install.
