GEX-P920XM & avic-u310bt won't save presets - Toyota Yaris Forums

Hey folks,

I've racked my brain on this and I just can't figure it out. I have a new u310bt with the p920xm for xm radio. However, every time I turn off the engine and then later reattach the u310bt face, I lost all of my xm presets. This is so annoying! I've reset both the p920xm and the u310bt, but it didn't fix the issue. Could I have some kind of wiring problem? From my searching online, it appears that no one else has this issue. Please help!

The only thing I can think of is to make sure the yellow wire going to the xm tuner has constant 12 volts. It should be hooked to the yellow wire on the head unit. ??

Thanks, Palmer. I guess I have to rip open the dash again and look at the wires. Bummer.

yeah... sounds like you are missing the constant power wire (power to the deck even when the car is turned off).
