Question Tyre Size on 16" Wheels Black Machined

Hello Yaris Community, i just recently bought a yaris sport and i have one question on my mind, the stock tires are 195/50/16 and in the future those wheels support 205/50/16 tires? And the car will be less stable, damage anything on suspension or other stuff?

Sorry but im a Noob on mechanics xD
The wheels are these.

Thankfully,

Thankfully,
205/50/16's will be an excellent fit on those wheels. In fact, I think they are a better fitment than the OEM 195/50/16.

They are correct, it might look better.

1. Slight diff on the handling over uneven roads as the 205 tires tend to be less tolerant to unevenness. They tend to steer the car to where the road takes the tires.

2. Fuel economy they say will be a little different too, but thats just based on a wider contact patch and a taller tire. I dont have experience/actual testing as to how true this may be, mostly bec of item#3.

3. Gauge reading will be slightly off, speedometer hence odometer and trip meters.

Again these are "slightly," would not be a cause for concern for me (if you asked me)

I've been running 205's since 2007 when a had my first Yaris.

1. With the proper tread pattern, the tyres will not steer the car... or provide any sense that they are.

2. Fuel economy will be affected.

3. Actually. my speedo was off out of the box with the OEM 185/60/15's, but surprisingly is dead on with the 205/50/16's.
